Peter Pinne
In a career that has spanned five continents, Peter Pinne has worn
many hats; television executive and producer, recording producer, composer,
lyricist, script writer, author and columnist.
Mr. Pinne’s high-profile television career encompasses work on some of Australian TVs most iconic series; “Neighbours”, “Sons And Daughters”, “The Young Doctors”, “The Restless Years”, and “Prisoner”. He supervised the production of the mini-series “Tanamera – The Lion Of Singapore,” as well as several children’s series including “Secret Valley” and “Runaway Island”. He was Executive Producer of “Australia’s Most Wanted”, and worked in the same position in Los Angeles on the drama series “Dangerous Women”. During the 90s he was Senior Vice President of Pearson Television – Latin America, and in 2001 set-up drama production in Indonesia for Fremantlemedia. Mr. Pinne originally mastered the art of music and lyric-writing creating songs for intimate revue in Melbourne in the 60s, and later, working in this same genre his work was seen on television including the groundbreaking comedy series, “The Mavis Bramston Show.” As a composer his career reached a peak in 1995 when his musical “Prisoner Cell Block H – The Musical,” opened in London and later did two tours in the UK. His other musical theatre credits include; “A Bunch Of Ratbags,” “Caroline,” “Red, White & Boogie,” and seven musicals for children. He composed the theme song for the TV series, “Sons And Daughters,”
and the music for the Award winning movie, “A City’s Child.”
He currently owns and is President of the boutique record label, Bayview
in the U.S., and writes columns for the theatre magazines, “On
Stage” and “Stage Whispers.” Paul Dellit
Paul Dellit has performed as an Actor, Singer, Compere
and Musician all around Australia. As well as being a seasoned Theatre
Restaurant performer, he has worked as a Director, Composer and Musical
Director; and has performed with the Queensland Theatre Company, La Boite
Theatre Company, Opera Queensland, Brisbane City Council, Adelaide Festival
Centre Trust, Queensland Arts Council and Queensland Performing Arts Trust.
His television credits include numerous commercials and voice-overs; as well as work with Grundy Television, Seven Network, Network Ten, ABC TV and Nine Network. As a Producer he has worked on major productions with the Brisbane Festival, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Music Festival, as well as his own commercial productions and corporate events through his company Seymour Productions. Paul has served as President of the Actors’ & Entertainers’ Benevolent Fund (Qld) Inc.; as a member of the Branch Council of MEAA (Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance); Deputy Chair of the National Performance Conference; is on the Nomination Panel of the AEIA Helpmann Awards; and was appointed to the board of the Aboriginal Centre for Performing Arts. In 2003, Paul was awarded a Centenary Medal for his services to the arts in Australia. |
